Jazz-Rockets -- Game 6 thread

Jazz win, 113-91. They simply wore down the Rockets in the second half. Jazz will face the Lakers in Round 2.

Jazz extend to 85-65 after 3. McGrady scoreless in the third, 0-for-4 shooting.

Jazz open the third on a 19-5 run to regain control, 77-59. Williams has four 3s during the run. Alston, who sprained his ankle late in the second, won't return. Rockets' effort has been valiant, but they finally seem to be running out of steam.

Williams hits a 3 late in the second to give the Jazz a 58-54 lead at the break. McGrady has 28.

This is unreal. Rockets, down 19 earlier in the quarter, have come all the way back. They're beating the Jazz to the punch, diving on the floor for loose balls, pushing inside for offensive rebounds. Mutombo is blocking shots, etc.

McGrady is on fire: 24 of Houston's 41 so far. The Rockets are within 9, 50-41.

Korver for 3. Jazz, 46-27.

Williams to Harpring on the break. Jazz, 43-27.

Jazz open 6-0 in the second quarter, lead, 38-22.

Jazz lead, 32-22, after 1.

Jazz are active all over the floor, going for the knockout blow early. Utah up, 28-14, under 2 to go in the first quarter.
